Gameplay Designer | Systems Architect | Team Uplifter

I’ve had the chance to work on a bunch of new IPs and some established ones too. Along the way, I’ve learned when it’s best to dive in hands-on and when to step back and support the team. I’ve been part of big AAA projects with hundreds of teammates, and I’ve also helped build games with much smaller teams where everyone wears a bunch of hats.

From high-octane action-adventure to strategic turn-based games, I aspire to design gameplay that captivates. My experience spans level design, AI, cameras, combat encounters, economies, UI/UX, player flow, progression systems, and narrative integration across multiple AAA titles.

I build rich systems. I refine the play. I elevate the team. Whether scripting sequences or shaping mechanics, I bring clarity, creativity, and cohesion. I lead by sharing, mentoring, and pushing ideas forward: because I realize that great games start and finish with great teams.

Skills

  • Comfortable with editors like Unity, Unreal Engine, Maya, 3DS Max, RW Studio and a variety of proprietary engines and scripting tools
  • Proficiency in tools like Figma, Photoshop, Illustrator, and PowerPoint, and I currently experiment with AI-assisted design tools like CoPilot, ChatGPT, and Midjourney
  • Versatile across multiple development environments and pipelines and demonstrated ability to adapt across team structures and production models
  • Deep understanding of the full game development lifecycle, with experience in both publishing and internal studio roles
  • Project-proven skills in team management, organization, and creative problem resolution
  • Strong track record of delivering end-to-end product experiences under pressure, across disciplines, and on a wide range of hardware
  • Skilled at defining clear design goals while maintaining cohesive design systems and methodologies via Figma, Wiki, M365, G-Suite, & more
